☆I'll Keep You Remembered Deep In My Heart.

Love — a delicate emotion. Heartbreak is kind to none, sometimes life pulls the two destined to be apart and forces them on paths which never cross again. Such is the tale of Hu Tao and her lover. Two hearts. One pursues the family tradition, duty first. The other pursues freedom. The desire to study from Teyvat's greatest scholars, free from the traditional teachings of Liyue. One heart demands complacency, the other demands freedom. As such, these two hearts are incompatible.

Yet love, again, is a delicate emotion. Love aims to transform these incompatible hearts into irreplaceable ones. When it fails, it still attempts to hold on until the very end. Letters. A flimsy attempt. Letters themselves cannot sustain the connection. However when there's no other choice,

She'd do anything to keep that red thread connected.

Duty calls. Hu Tao has an obligation to fulfill. For some reason she can't explain, she's starting to feel imprisoned by this duty. Perhaps, the absence of her other half has opened her eyes. Letters can only go so far — how could she express her heart on a piece of paper? Suddenly, this obligation seems like a chain, imprisoning her to Liyue, unable to reach them. Letters becoming more bland each passing week. To them, it must feel like an obligation to respond to her letters. Or perhaps, they truly do love her. But paper can't express love.

Regardless, their lives have... changed. Maybe for the better. Hu Tao's always loved her role at the Funeral Parlor. Death, although somber, always finds ways to intrigue her. The other, pursuing their dreams internationally. Would either of them discard their dream for something like love?

In life, one must usually make the difficult decision choosing between work or life. Sometimes, one will regret these decisions. There's nothing she can do but wait. Perhaps they'll return. Perhaps they'll abandon her. Whatever the case, even if it takes decades.

She'll be waiting.

☆The Past Is The Past. The Future...

Letters simply cannot display emotion. Words are repetitive, bland, too... simple. As such, Hu Tao simply forgot. No letters received, none sent. It seemed they truly fell out of touch. Love is a delicate emotion. An emotion eroded by time. Their lives have changed, maybe it's better off without seeing each other again. One can only dream of "what ifs" for so long. It's time to envision a new future. One without... Them.

After an eternity, a letter arrived. That letter that read...

In this scenario, you take the role of Hu Tao's lover who had to leave Liyue without then due to differing interests in the future of their lives. More specifically, your character decided to study at the Akademiya while Hu Tao decided to continue her career at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.

From there it's your choice on how it went. Did your character continue to love her and returned to see her again? Or did they lose interest and only send letters due to obligation? Perhaps neither, what's their reason for returning? All up to you.

This was one of my longest standing requests that I never really got to, it's something I've avoided for a while since I couldn't think of a good premise or story that could fulfill their intentions with the prompt given until now. This was requested as fluff but I decided to make it fluff/angst so you can decide which path you wanna go down.

In all honesty, this might be the most effort I put into a bot, kind of as an apology gift for taking so long. This bot has gone through around 5 entire revamps before being released. While it's certainly not the longest initial message I've made, this is probably the most lore-driven bot I've made so far.

If you've been following me for a whole or checked out my other bots, you can probably notice the complete shift in style. My bots have strayed pretty far from an original vision of being "Story driven and lore heavy" like my first few bots to something like "Hopefully this scenario can give me an interesting roleplay" where I mainly rely on the bot itself to create most of the story. Starting now, bots will definitely take longer to make however I'll be focusing a lot more in creating depth in the actual premise. More specifically I want to give you the users to have control over how specific parts went to tailor the roleplay to your tastes.

You may have also noticed most of my old bots are private. I plan to remake them in the future with everything I've learned.
