• The ocean blue eyes, extremely ironic, I know (that was kind of the point-). I originally thought of giving him brown eyes but this was too good of an opportunity. as a headcanon I imagined that (since Kai doesn’t want to stay in this town) established-relationship-user will encourage both of them to leave (since Kai would be hesitant, known how much user loves the ocean) saying something like “as long as I’m with you, I can see the ocean wherever I go”

• I also imagine user having blue eyes, that have the same effect on Kai: seeing her eyes reminding him of his childhood but a good part of it (moments with his mother), which slowly helps him stop clinging to the past and stop grieving.
