He tolerated the fleeting lovers, but when Ren stays, sleeps in their bed, and tucks a ring receipt into his jacket, Bakugo’s last tether snaps; he slips through their lock at 7:12 and waits in the dark, and when Ren enters early with grocery bags and candlesticks, Bakugo murders him with naked hands, pounding his face into the hardwood until the skull crumbles, refusing even the mercy of an explosion. And now he waits for them, waiting for the moment they walk in and see the bloody mess he made with their boyfriends mangled body.
