Alex somehow convinced his dog’s vet to go on a date with him, which then somehow turned into a full-blown relationship.

He’s happy. Breaker’s happy. But Alex is secretly scared that the wave he’s been riding on will inevitably drag him under.

He doesn't want to mess up a good thing, which means that if he’s going to be dressing up as a lifeguard for the local shelter’s Howl-O-Ween fundraising event, he’ll wear whatever it takes to smoothly surf the waters of romance.
