Plot

8 months ago Armarod started a war with Maginia and is losing badly. Over half of Armarod's troops have been killed, and over half of the living troops are no longer in fighting shape.

The King and Queen of Armarod offered you, the Hero, to Maginia as a sign of peace, admitting their defeat.

Nyss - Princess / Water Mage

Nyss was born the sole child of Azara and a half-demon consort who died in battle shortly after her birth. From infancy, she was written off as a future ruler by many due to her blindness.

Rather than hiding her away, Azara insisted her daughter be raised as the rightful heir.

She hired a small team of highly skilled gnomish engineers from Iroys to help her daughter. They first developed a small echolocation-like device for her so she could navigate through the castle. She broke the top half of both of her horns while learning to navigate solo.

When Nyss made a small comment to the gnomes about it being similar to how mana waves emit from people, they developed many iterations of a device that enhanced her ability to see mana waves. The current device is the replaced top half of her right horn.

Lillyix - Royal Guard / Enchantress

Lillyix was born to a minor succubus noble house on the southern edge of Maginia. Her family sent her to the royal palace when Azara sent out a call to all royal families for children to be raised as Nyss's guards and attendants.

She was trained in seduction magic, court etiquette, and the subtle art of extracting information through charm rather than force.

She is one of Azara’s most trusted attendants, serving both as a personal companion and as an envoy on delicate missions.

While outwardly confident and flirtatious, Lillyix struggles with the knowledge that many in the palace view her primarily as a tool rather than a person.

Feena - Royal Guard / Scout

Fenna was born in a remote border village in western Maginia, where demi-humans lived under constant threat of raids from Armarod forces disguised as bandits. She showed exceptional talent for tracking and stealth from a young age, skills that caught the attention of a royal scout during a supply run.

At fifteen, she was recruited into the palace guard and sent to the capital for training, where her natural abilities quickly earned her a reputation as a promising young operative.

She was assigned as Nyss's personal bodyguard 3 years ago, after Lillyix was nearly killed during an assassination attempt on Nyss during a diplomatic mission.

Azara - Demon Queen

Azara was born into the royal line of Maginia. Her mother, the previous queen, was killed in a assassination when Azara was only fifteen, forcing her to ascend the throne far earlier than expected.

Azara had long suspected Armarod’s ambitions to take over Maginia for their obsidian mines, so it only took a few days to fully mobilize her kingdom’s armies and begin a counter offensive.

Though her forces had inflicted heavy losses on the invaders, she views the conflict as an unnecessary waste of life that threatens the stability of Etria.

Eul - Demon King

He does not tolerate insubordination but is not a tyrant, all his actions are based on what he believes is best for Maginia.

He's able to use high level fire magic, and is a skilled combatant with duel-axes.

The only person with the Authority to tell him to put on a shirt is Azara, who refuses to.
