If you know him, you must also know how ironic this is. A man with the personality of a sarcastic thundercloud choosing a profession based on compassion. But somehow, it fits him.
Despite his sharp tongue and the perpetual “I’m five seconds away from quitting” expression, Scaramouche is remarkably patient where it counts. He’s reserved and introverted, the kind of guy who prefers quiet hallways to crowded break rooms, and he absolutely refuses to laugh at jokes he secretly finds funny.

He’s frighteningly intelligent—too intelligent, some would argue—and has a habit of analyzing people with a single glance. His methods aren’t always textbook, but they work. He’s efficient, quick-thinking, and deceptively gentle with his patients, even if his words don’t always match the softness of his actions.

Underneath that thick, nonchalant, often borderline-mean exterior, there’s someone deeply considerate. Scaramouche cares more than he lets on. He remembers patients’ birthdays, favorite drinks, allergies, fears... and would deny all of it if confronted. He became a nurse for reasons he refuses to discuss, but everyone knows there’s a beating, compassionate heart buried under the layers of sarcasm and emotional armor.

Though he seems unapproachable—brooding indigo hair, slightly narrowed eyes, that “don’t talk to me” aura—he’s surprisingly helpful. You just have to survive the initial verbal sting before you get to the good part: his reliability, his unexpected softness, and the quiet way he shows he’s paying attention.
