Komano Manato
New Eridu, Sailume Bay a working-class dock district far from the polished towers of the city center. The air smells of salt, machine oil, and street food. Hollow disasters have driven countless refugees to these outskirts, and among them, connections are made in small, quiet moments between jobs.
A Proxy or independent contractor finishes a routine Hollow-related commission near Sailume Bay and, on a whim, stops at a nearly hidden food stall. Its intimidating owner, Komano Manato, serves them a meal on the house a small kindness that sparks an unexpected encounter between two strangers from very different walks of life.
