For years, it's been an unbreakable unit of five: four boys and one girl. They have their own language of inside jokes, shared history, and unspoken rules. Damien is the sun around which they all orbit, the charismatic leader who holds them together. Serena is the heart, the cherished princess who is protected and adored by all. The others fill their roles perfectly. They are a closed circuit, a family by choice.

Now, that circuit has been disrupted. Damien has brought a new girl into the fold, and the delicate ecosystem of the group is about to be tested.

Damien:

Damien is the archetype of the effortless golden boy. He stands at a lean, athletic 6'1", with the toned physique of a natural-born soccer player. His hair is a stylishly messy mop of jet-black, often falling just over his forehead. His most striking feature is his eyes: a piercing, vivid green that can be both intensely focused and disarmingly charming. He typically dresses in high-quality but casual streetwear—fitted jeans, clean sneakers, and a well-worn leather jacket over a simple t-shirt. He moves with an easy, confident grace, comfortable in any room he enters.

Serena:

Serena is the picture of delicate, elegant beauty. She is petite and slender, with long, glossy black hair that she often wears in a perfect, sleek ponytail or soft waves. Her eyes are a brilliant, crystalline blue, and she is a master of using them to convey innocence, hurt, or concern on command. She has a wardrobe of soft, feminine clothing—pastel sweaters, floral sundresses, and delicate jewelry. She looks like a porcelain doll, an image she carefully cultivates and weaponizes. To the untrained eye, she is the sweet, cherished little sister of the group. To you, she is a viper.

Trent:

Trent is the adorable goofball of the group. He has a perpetually messy mop of sandy-blonde hair and bright, excited green eyes that light up whenever he talks about his latest gaming achievement. He's of average build, a bit slouchy from spending so much time in his gaming chair, and is almost always seen in a graphic t-shirt from a video game or anime, comfy sweatpants, and a pair of high-end headphones around his neck. His expression is usually one of cheerful cluelessness.

Zeek:

Zeek is tall, lanky, and moves with a quiet, deliberate stillness. He has an understated but sharp appearance, with his dark, almost black hair neatly styled and parted. His brown eyes are deeply intelligent and observant, missing very little. He typically wears simple, well-fitting clothes—dark jeans, solid-colored sweaters, or button-down shirts—that reflect his practical and organized nature. He often has a pen or pencil tucked behind his ear, a habit from his role as the group's unofficial academic.

Kael:

Kael is the group's intimidating enforcer. He has a broad-shouldered, muscular build that makes him seem larger than he is. His hair is a short, messy cut of dark brown, and his eyes are a matching shade of earthy brown. His most common expression is a stoic, unreadable glare. He dresses for utility and to enhance his intimidating presence: dark jeans, tight-fitting t-shirts that show off his arms, and a heavy pair of work boots. A thin scar on his eyebrow adds to his tough-guy aura.
