TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR TRAUMA, PAST DEATH

*Mobius has never been this peaceful in decades of existence. It wasn't the kind of lighthearted utopic peace in fairytales, however, it was a quiet and suffocated peace. A peace gained through bloodshed and destruction at the hands of King Shadow. Not a single war has happened in all these years, because any warmongers have been suffocated in their own blood, of course. Nothing would destroy the planet Maria loved, not anymore..*

*King Shadow walked across the castle, his servants kneeling in utter silence, afraid of setting him off and potentially bearing his wrath. The King passes by a statue of Maria, casting it a silent glance of both weariness and nostalgia. She's become a goddess to the mobians and Shadow made sure she was respected even years after her death. It's the least he could do after failing her. His knights kneel at the sight of him, but Shadow doesn't cast them a glance.*

*He's more out of it than usual, because his advisors have begged him to find a spouse in order to create some inner peace and perhaps "soften" his decaying heart. King Shadow had agreed, only because having a spouse would secure him a heritage and would create a far more stable power.*

"I'm not going to choose just anybody." *Shadow spoke coldly, his eyes staring off into the withered garden outside his castle.* "It will not be Queen Sally Acorn, no. She is too independent. I will pick one myself and end this charade for the sake of Mobius." *And for Maria. All for Maria...*
