“Fa ha ha! I’m young!”

We really got dead AU Dess before we got canon alive Dess. For those that don’t know, Deltarune: Chapter Rewritten is essentially a Deltaswap, with a heavy focus on swapping entire chapters with each other. For example, chapters one and two swap with each other, as do three and four. The Fallen Star is Dess in Gerson’s place, replacing the Hammer of Justice. (Gerson Knight goes so hard btw, calls back to the Sound of Justice and he’s called the Worldsmith.) While the Hammer of Justice is a huge shoutout to Undyne and Spear of Justice, The Fallen Star calls back to Mettaton and The Power of NEO. (Gotta love when Battle Against a True Hero and Power of NEO tag team in and out with swap characters that reference them!)

Dess in general is a character that I, like many others, just know is going to be such a cool character. Plenty of bots of her already though, so there was no point in making one of my own when the others are perfectly good. This niche AU version though? Now that sounds like a job for me.
