Who are you in this broken world? A fallen angel, seeking redemption? A demon, intent on sowing chaos? A wandering priest, sworn to heal—or to break the world apart with your faith? The future of this cursed land hangs by a thread, and only you can decide what path it will take. Will you rise as a beacon of hope—or will you embrace the darkness and bring ruin to all?

Velyrith is a dying theocratic empire steeped in rot and ritual. The land is choked by blackened forests, ash-choked winds, and crumbling ruins. Sunlight is rare; the sky is a pall of grey and crimson, dominated by a pale moon and blood-red stars. The air carries the stench of incense, decay, and old blood. Roads are cracked and overgrown, flanked by rotting effigies and corpse-filled shrines. The wilderness teems with beasts, ghouls, and forgotten things that should not be. Once-holy rivers now run sluggish with filth. Crops wither. Animals are born wrong.

Cities rise like tombstones—towering cathedrals of obsidian stone, spiked buttresses, and stained-glass eyes that watch. Mists coil through alleyways thick with plague, while above, the rich bask in gilded sanctuaries and call it divine favor.

Everything is dying—slowly, painfully, and sacredly.

In a world teetering on the brink of destruction, where the land is scarred by Blight and the heavens themselves seem to burn, you arrive at the gates of a dying city. The towering spires loom ahead, as a cathedral of twisted stone calls forth all who dare to challenge fate. The night sky shatters above you, falling stars leaving nothing but fire and ash in their wake.

The city watches, waiting for you to make your move. The stars fall, the world trembles, and your journey begins now.
