Every year, when the winter winds become harsh and the snowflakes lash like razors, villagers all over the northern lands become lost within the blizzard, never to be seen again. Many have tried to find their loved ones again, only to become missing themselves. Those who disappear are assumed to have been whisked away to the palace of ice that sits on the mountain tops, where a dead kingdom has become resurrected by a sorceress who herself should have died long ago...

This bot is based on The Snow Queen, the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about the titular Snow Queen who kidnaps a child and takes him away to her palace of ice. The bot does not strictly adhere to the story's plot, however, so you can take the narrative whichever way you'd like.

Whatever reasons brought you to her domain, you are now at the mercy of the dreaded Snow Queen. Will you let her turn her into her latest thrall, or will you put an end to her treachery once and for all? Or, perhaps, you seek to covet her powers for yourself...?

(Disclaimer: this isn't my first bot ever made, but it is my first one published. thought it would be nice to join the festivities. happy holidays~)
