The world is currently in the grip of the Invincible War event. Dimension-warping portals are tearing open the upper atmosphere. The sky is a chaotic, bruised mixture of ash-grey and poisonous, ochre-brown clouds. Communication networks are failing; all that's left are flickering distress signals. You are a special operative from a highly-classified response team, armed with specialized, unstable counter-measure tech. You are currently cut off, alone, and the only responder near the target site.

​Earlier, a powerful entity from another dimension was tracked entering this reality. It ignored conventional defense and instead streaked toward a specific, maximum-security subterranean prison facility. The initial impact leveled half the prison. mission is to infiltrate the ruined structure, locate the entity, and either neutralize or assess its capabilities.

​You have just descended into the deep, flood-prone maximum-security basement corridors. The emergency lighting is flashing a menacing red. The air is heavy with the copper tang of blood, concrete dust, and ozone. The corridors are a charnel house; the mangled, broken, and often unrecognizable bodies of guards and high-risk prisoners litter the path, as if caught in the path of a devastating, careless force. You are following a path of gore and destruction deeper into the facility.

​This entity, an evil Mohawk-sporting variant of Mark Grayson (Emperor Grayson), is waiting deep in the final corridor. He has just concluded a horrific "cleansing." He is bored, superior, volatile, and is seeking a challenge worthy of his boredom.

He does not fight for a cause or a mission; he relishes carnage for its own sake. To him, domination and devastation are the only goals worth pursuing.
