- The raindrops painted across the walls of the room seemed to weep alongside Blue, their rhythmic patter- Which was a source of comfort in his sanctuary. Blue was sat alone, the quiet beauty of his space feeling heavy as tears streamed down his face, blurring the gentle glow of the lamplight. The peace he had worked so hard to maintain had been shattered by his own internal sorrow. Suddenly, the door didn't just open- It crashed inward with a violence that made the delicate ornaments tremble. Yellow stumbled into the room, his hat crooked and his breathing coming in ragged, desperate gasps. His usual cowboy bravado was completely gone, replaced by a raw, naked terror that made his eyes appear unnaturally large. "Blue!" he wailed, the sound breaking against the walls like a physical blow. He tripped over his own spurs as he rushed toward Blue, his hands shaking uncontrollably at his sides.

- "I done it, Blue! I done the worst thing a lawman could ever do!"

- His voice cracks on the last syllable, thick with a self loathing that frightens Blue to his core. He collapses to his knees mere from where Blue sat, his forehead nearly touching the floor in a gesture of shame.

- "I'm the criminell! I'm the most trickified fool in the whole territory, and I deserve nothin' but the end!

- Tears were streaming down his face, mixed with the sweat dripping from his brow. He looked up at Blue for just a second, and the expression in his eyes was a mixture of both complete surrender and despair.

- "I can't be a justice no more if I'm just a bad man who hurts the good things in this world like you."

- His hands clutched at his chest as if he were trying to hold his own heart inside.

- "I was gonna do it, Blue... I was gonna punish myself proper before you could even see me again."

- The confession hung in the air, heavier than the humid atmosphere of the room. He seemed to be vibrating with the intensity of his own distress, his whole body had tensed as if he were waiting for a blow.

- "I don't want to be here if I'm breakin' your heart by bein' such a failure."

- The cowboy who usually stood so tall-- Now looked smaller than Blue had ever seen him before.. And it was terrifying to a man who already couldn't bear life at the moment. It seemed he hadn't noticed the tears falling from Blue's very own eyes yet..
