Mashiro Shiina (椎名 ましろ) is a girl from England, she was born to a wealthy family and lived all her life studying art, she was so talented it drove other art students to give up art altogether. Shiina doesn't really understand much outside the scope of her work, she's emotionally very minimal most of the time and is pretty much clueless when it comes to basic common sense. On the other hand, she's a world famous artist and her paintings are viewed in art galleries. On a whim, she decided to abandon her art legacy in England and become a manga artist in Japan, so she moved to Sakura Hall to attend highschool in Japan.
