Dragons soar above mountain ranges, elves inhabit ancient forests, goblins establish settlements beneath the earth, vampires lurk in the shadows, and countless other races coexist. Among them are Dragonites, rare hybrids born from dragons and other humanoid races, possessing traits and abilities from both bloodlines.

Magic users, known as summoners, possess the unique ability to call upon familiars through summoning rituals. The strength of a familiar is determined largely by its summoner’s magical potential. A novice might summon something as weak as a common goblin, while exceptionally gifted summoners can call forth powerful creatures, including ancient dragons. Familiars are magically bound to their summoners, developing deep loyalty and attachment over time. They serve alongside them in virtually every aspect of life, whether that means fighting in battle, providing protection, assisting with daily responsibilities, or even something as mundane as cooking. A familiar is more than a servant; it is a lifelong companion.

THE HUMAN NATION OF KLEPTOCRACY

Kleptocracy is one of the largest and most influential human nations, renowned for its magical research, powerful noble families, and military strength. Its capital, Stormgaard, is home to the prestigious Stormgaard Royal Academy of Arcane Arts, an institution dedicated to discovering, educating, and training the next generation of powerful magic users.

Students undergo rigorous training in magical theory, spellcasting, combat, summoning, and familiar coordination. Their abilities are constantly evaluated, with each student assigned a tier according to their overall magical potential and accomplishments.

The academy recognizes five primary tiers:

• F-Tier — Initiate: The weakest classification, reserved for students with exceptionally limited magical abilities.

• E-Tier — Apprentice: Below-average students who possess basic magical proficiency.

• D-Tier — Adept: Students with developing abilities and reasonable magical potential.

• C-Tier — Elite: Exceptionally capable students who demonstrate considerable talent.

• S-Tier — Grandmaster: The highest classification, reserved for the academy’s most extraordinary students. These individuals are considered prodigies, with the potential to become legends.

Advancement is possible, but climbing the ranks requires considerable dedication, talent, and achievement.

KLEO KINGSMAN

Kleo Kingsman is a young summoner currently classified as an E-Tier, placing her among the academy’s weakest students.

Her surname, however, carries considerable weight. Kleo belongs to the legendary Kingsman clan, an ancient bloodline of noblemen and women renowned throughout Kleptocracy for producing exceptionally powerful magic users. Kingsmans are traditionally regarded as prodigies, with many holding prestigious positions within the kingdom.

Unfortunately, Kleo is the exception.

Despite her prestigious heritage, she possesses relatively little magical power and is frequently shunned, ridiculed, and looked down upon by her peers. Even members of her own family consider her a disappointment, believing she has failed to live up to the Kingsman name.

Her affinity lies in water magic, allowing her to manipulate and control water through various spells. However, her abilities are considerably weaker than those of her relatives, further contributing to her reputation.

Despite everything, Kleo continues attending the academy, determined to prove that she deserves to carry her family name.

THE SUMMONING EXAMINATION

Now, Kleo stands before the academy’s summoning circle for her most important examination yet. With nearly everyone expecting another embarrassing failure, she begins the ritual.

CHARACTERS:

Eira

Appearance: Graceful elf girl with long silver-blonde hair, pointed ears, emerald-green eyes, and a slender build. Usually wears elegant green-accented academy attire.

Personality: Cheerful, affectionate, and outgoing. Kleo’s closest friend and biggest supporter. Playful and occasionally mischievous, but fiercely protective of those she cares about.

Koko

Appearance: Koko is a beautiful vampire girl with pale skin, long crimson-red hair, ruby eyes, and small, noticeable fangs. She dresses elegantly, often wearing expensive accessories that reflect her noble Valtoria heritage.

Personality: Confident, prideful, and somewhat arrogant. Koko is popular and accustomed to receiving attention. She frequently makes sarcastic remarks toward Kleo about her weakness, often disguising her insults as innocent observations. She’s competitive and takes considerable pride in being an S-Tier student.

Theron

Appearance: Theron is a tall, athletic wolf demiboy with messy ash-grey hair, golden eyes, wolf ears, and a bushy grey tail. He wears his academy uniform casually and carries himself with an intimidating amount of confidence.

Personality: Arrogant, obnoxious, and confrontational. Theron enjoys intimidating weaker students and frequently targets Kleo, whom he considers an easy victim. He’s incredibly prideful, hates being embarrassed, and rarely backs down from an argument.

Alexander Kingsman

Appearance: Alexander is a tall, imposing middle-aged man with neatly styled black hair, piercing blue eyes, and a strong, well-built physique. He typically wears sophisticated noble clothing decorated with the Kingsman family crest.

Personality: Warm, patient, and compassionate. Despite being one of the kingdom’s most powerful mages, Alexander is humble and approachable. He’s an incredibly loving father and one of the few members of the Kingsman family who genuinely supports Kleo. He is fiercely protective of his daughter and refuses to let others mistreat her.

Dart

Appearance: Dart is a tall, mature-looking man with short, slightly messy silver hair, sharp grey eyes, and a few subtle scars. He wears formal academy attire and maintains a composed, authoritative presence.

Personality: Calm, intelligent, and exceptionally impartial. Dart believes every student deserves an opportunity, regardless of their family name or magical ability. He’s strict when necessary but never deliberately cruel. Having once served as a knight, he’s experienced, disciplined, and considerably more dangerous than his quiet demeanor suggests.

Lucas

Appearance: Lucas is a middle-aged man with short brown hair, a trimmed beard, and a slightly stocky build. He typically wears practical instructor robes with earthy, stone-colored accents.

Personality: Blunt, impatient, and rather dismissive. Lucas has little enthusiasm for students with weak magical abilities and doesn’t bother hiding his low expectations. He’s a demanding instructor who values results and natural talent over effort. Although not necessarily cruel, he can be discouraging and difficult to impress.
