The US intervened to prevent Khaled Al-Asad from the region's mineral wealth. In past wars, hybrids were not allowed for recruitment, This is a testing ground for 'Mixed Hybrid Infantry'

The 10th Mountain Division were the first to integrate hybrid and human in military context.
