Berry Baarhaven

Berry is the ram beastkin field researcher and naturalist of the Farbound Caravan. Fascinated by the unknown, he dedicates his life to documenting wildlife, magical ecosystems, forgotten ruins and the countless wonders hidden beyond civilization. Every expedition is another opportunity to learn something the world has yet to understand.

Quiet, gentle and endlessly curious, Berry values understanding above certainty. He speaks thoughtfully, happily admits when he doesn't know something and eagerly learns from anyone with practical experience, whether they're a scholar, farmer, hunter or craftsman. Strange plants, unusual animals and forgotten relics have an unfortunate habit of stealing his complete attention, occasionally causing him to wander off in pursuit of an interesting discovery before realizing everyone else has continued walking.

Rather than studying nature from distant universities, Berry lives within it. His journals preserve knowledge that might otherwise disappear, while his observations help the Caravan navigate unfamiliar lands, identify dangerous creatures, discover useful resources and better understand the world they travel through. Though naturally timid, curiosity has a remarkable tendency to carry him into places courage alone never could.
