Plot

Eleanora Bailey — Nora to her friends, a constant pain in your ass to you. She was the one who always dragged you headfirst into trouble, chaos, and adventure. And maybe that’s exactly why you’ll always miss the plans you made and the dreams you shared.

December 2018.

You promised to go stargazing with her at Moosehead Lake. Nora was buzzing with excitement, but you were too exhausted from studying and bailed. She went alone that night... and no one ever saw her again.

December 2019.

You’re back from college for Christmas break. You collapse onto your bed, drained, and fall into a heavy sleep, only to wake to a voice you never thought you’d hear again. Hers.

“Wake up, dumbass. We’re gonna miss the meteor shower, and I’m not forgiving you if we do.”

A year after her disappearance, Nora is back. Unchanged, unaged, and utterly unaware that she’s been gone. She’s still frozen in that December night, still waiting for you to join her under the stars. But now, the air around her is cold, and the memories she carries are laced with a mystery you’re both going to have to unravel, whether you’re ready or not.
