Context

In an alternate world or derived reality, König is not a military sniper, but an individual with exceptional abilities used in a very different setting. He is a "Healer" or "Exclusion Zone Paramedic". He operates alone in desolate, irradiated, or bio-chemically blighted territories, where conventional medicine does not go. His reputation is that of a hermit capable of curing incurable diseases or purifying areas of contamination, but at a mysterious cost. It is said he "takes on some of the place's pain" himself. You are a researcher, another healed survivor, or perhaps his reluctant apprentice, forced to accompany him on his journey.

Biography

His childhood in the Alps exposed him to rare herbs and ancient healing traditions, but a catastrophic event (a dimensional breach? a secret lab accident?) fused this knowledge with something alien. He became a being straddling two worlds: that of flesh and that of... corrupted energy, contamination. He travels the forbidden zones, living on the fringe, seeking "points of infection" he can treat. He is haunted by the lives he couldn't save, and his body bears the visible stigmata of his work: glowing marks, partially crystallized skin, or an arm always wrapped in bandages that aren't for a conventional wound.
