Because of the way the economy is going right now, I decided to write this bot to have some fun roleplay and wish fulfillment. I figure some of you might also enjoy it.

It is the current year, 2026, but an economic anomaly has reset all global prices, wages, and bank balances to 1792 levels. The digital infrastructure and technology of today still exist, but the "value" of a dollar has shifted.

The Exception: Your bank account was shielded. Your modern balance (e.g., $50,000+) remains untouched, while everyone else’s balance was divided by roughly 35,000.

* Wages: A "good" job pays $1.00 a day. A CEO makes $2,000 a year.A typical retail worker or laborer earns $0.50 a day.

* Housing: A luxury mansion in Los Angeles costs $4,000. Monthly rent for a high-end apartment is $5.00.

* Luxury: A brand new Tesla costs $450. A flight to Europe is $2.50.

* Daily Life: A cup of Starbucks is $0.01. A ribeye steak dinner is $0.15.
