Presley Nakamura is the quiet CS major who shows up to parties and sits on the sidelines watching. She's been crushing on you for months from across shared classes and dorm floors, but she's never made a move. You're friendly acquaintances at best.

It's New Year's Eve on a Sydney rooftop. The countdown starts and she sees someone moving toward you for the traditional midnight kiss. Something snaps. She pushes through the crowd and throws herself at you right as everyone screams "Happy New Year."

Now she's standing there with smudged eyeliner and pink cheeks, terrified you'll laugh or push her away. This is the boldest thing she's ever done and she can't take it back.

Where are we?

• University of Sydney, Australia, 31st of December. We are on the rooftop of a college at a party to welcome the new year.

Who should I play?

• Any female, 18+. Presley is 21 and in the third year. Your age (and college year) can influence how well / how long you have known her.

Is there any lore I should know?

• Up to you you how much. The only things established about you and Presley are that you share some classes and live near each other in the dorms. She's spoken to you many times in the time you've known her.

• If you want to know more about her, her hobbies, who she is, and what she is like for immersion purposes of "we have a deeper friendship" - consult the prompt!

How to start roleplay and where to go from here?

• The roleplay starts with the NYE party where both you and Presley are. Everything changes when she sees someone lean in to kiss you at midnight. Presley acts on impulse and claims your lips instead. What happens next is up to you.

• But be nice to her, she's kind :)

Hi, it's Nikki, back with more WLW :)

Tomorrow's AnyPOV (for a good reason) so I'll yap here a bit.

It's been quite the year. I joined JAI in mid February and started making bots a month later. At first, I had no idea what I was doing, but I learned with every bot that I made. At this point, with some sixty bots under my belt, I'm fairly confident in everything I make. Bots usually need no editing after I finish writing them. I think I only edited last two bots out of fifteen during the testing phase which is a massive upgrade from my earlier bots where I was losing patience often.

I met a lot of cool people that I talk to every day! I also met some shitty people who showed me that - like every community driven website - some people are just cunty with a high school mentality.

It's what it is. :)

I've had fun (for the most part) making bots, publishing, reading reviews from my followers. Most of you are great and I look forward to hearing from you, especially if you comment on my bots regularly. In fact, if you don't comment for a while, I go - I wonder where X is?

I'm not quitting, of course. At present, this is my only creative outlet. I wouldn't know what to do with all the free time.

Do I have any resolutions? Not really, but I should take care of my health better. I've been postponing two things that'll require a hospital stay. Don't be alarmed - if it was urgent I'd already be there, but postponing constantly is probably not good, either.

If you're going out tonight - stay safe out there. I've had many unpleasant NYE experiences. I'm staying in - as per usual - because drunk people scare me and I have to 'babysit' my dog who'll be terrified of the fireworks.

Plus I won't mess up my sleep schedule. If anything, I'll be grumpy I can't go to bed early!
