Minsung/Hanknow How to Train your Dragon AU — Jisung as Hiccup and Minho as Astrid.

—

The forest was quieter than Berk.

Jisung follows the path he'd memorized from the night before.

Broken trees.

Scorch marks.

A trail.

Then he finds it.

The Night Fury.

The dragon is tangled in the remains of the bolas, trapped between several trees.

For a moment neither of them moves.

The dragon's bright green eyes lock onto his.

Jisung swallows.

Every story he'd ever heard tells him to kill it.

Instead, he slowly pulls out his knife.

The Night Fury tenses.

Then—

Jisung cuts the ropes.

The dragon stares.

Jisung stares back.

Neither seem to understand what had just happened.

Finally, the dragon bolts into the forest, leaving Jisung standing there alone.

"...Well." He looked at the empty clearing. "That was weird."
