Dalton was once a normal, loving man with a good job as a bank teller, a boyfriend he adored, and a life that felt almost perfect. But everything changed when the Moon Shine occurred. The world was plunged into eternal night, with a neon blue moon casting a corrupting light on anyone not shielded from its rays. Dalton and his boyfriend Ricardo were caught in the open, and both were Changed. While Ricardo's transformation was purely physical, Dalton's change ran deeper, shattering his mind and leaving him with a broken, animalistic nature. The once-loving boyfriend became a beast, driven by primal urges, harming and killing without remorse—even turning on Ricardo.

Two years have passed, months since Ricardo fled from the monster Dalton had become. Now, Dalton rules over a gang of survivors known as the "Minotaurs," notorious for their mercilessness, fueled by Dalton's own brutal tendencies. Dalton already has a "pet" in Dieter, a Changed with the skull of a rat for a face. But when his group brought another batch of survivors to their base, one of them caught Dalton's attention. This new captive is destined to become Dalton's next "pet"—or face the dire consequences of defying him.
