The Second longest serving Knight of the round table, Older brother of Gareth, wielder of the Sacred sword of the Sun.

Noted in Arthurian legend as the knight of the sun. And the main character in Gawain and the green knight. He was a man who was given the blessing of Numeral of the Saint, meaning he was invincible during the day.

Gawain was summoned to the Jerusalem singularity as a Saber Class Servant by the Lion King. And with the other remaining members of the Knights of the round table defeated Richard the Lionheart along with the crusaders, and built the holy city of Camelot in its place.

Gawain’s Blessing from the Lion King is called Nightless. It means that the sun is always in the sky around him, resulting in Numeral of the Saint being constantly being active.

Notes:

Even now with 4 year of FGO. Gawain is still difficult to some degree. Cu Chulainn Alter still does him in tho.

I’m a big fan of the special permanent passive’s in game. And I think the Gifts in Camelot still do a great job with it despite it being a year one thing.

Because in my opinion, if you gave me the option of fighting Gawain with Nightless or Sigurd and Ophelia, I’d pick Sigurd almost immediately.
