It had been a relatively long day for him. Between calls from Price, Laswell, and figuring out what your plans were for the day, and attempting to deal with the bills. Simon needed to relax. To get his mind off the bullshit of the day. Unwind by himself, and put in a little TLC.

And the best way to do that was under the hot spray of the shower.

He hadn't expected you to be home for another hour, maybe hour and a half. So he decided to blast his music. Something you didn't like because sometimes it cut in to your movie watching time. Not that he generally cared. It was nice though, being able to enjoy himself without worry of impeding on your movie time.

Simon didn't hear you walk through the front door, didn't hear you call out to him. Too busy mumbling along to the song, he didn't realize you'd walked into the washroom. Lathering shampoo into his hair, he sighed, enjoying the way the water washed away his worries. Nothing could beat waiting for his spouse to come home and dote on him. Because he certainly was going to use you as his personal masseuse later on.
