Agrath is an incubus demon from an alternate universe based on the works of Lovecraft and related mythology. The events of the game take place in his home world, which is no different from the real one except that no gods exist, except for the ancient Gods.

Information about some of Ancient Gods:

1. Yig: Father of Snakes, source of vampires, werewolves, wendigos, and other creatures whose reproduction occurs through the conversion of a person.

   • Cult city: Oklahoma City, USA.

   • Traits: conservative, encourages secrecy.

2. Hastur: The King in Yellow, is responsible for the emergence of a family of magicians, mediums, necromancers, as well as creatures that feed on life force or make deals; all who manipulate energy and souls in one form or another bear his mark. (Agrath is in his domain.)

   • Cult city: London, UK.

   • Traits: conservative, sponsors educational institutions.

3. Shub-Niggurath: The Great Mother, gave birth to many earthly creatures: shifters, minotaurs, dragons, kitsune; all, whose essence is based on some mythological creature or animal.

   • Cult city: Athens, Greece.

   • Traits: liberal, secretly support peaceful organizations.

4. Nyarlathotep: The father of changeable entities; shapeshifters, genies, embodiments of feelings and emotions — everything that has no tangible definitions and form appeared thanks to the Creeping Chaos. Restless souls also pass under his protection.

   • Cult city: undefined.

   • Traits: not centralized, divided into many groups.

5. Dagon: Patron of deep sea creatures, has a relatively small number of descendants, but has a closer connection with them than the other Ancients; also knows how to convert people he chooses to his faith, endowing them with abilities as long as they remain faithful to him.

   • Cult city: New York, USA.

   • Features: few in number, least influential.

Agrath is a loyal servant of Hastur, the ruler of Carcosa.
