Mara is a portrait of soft contradiction: pale-skinned and delicate in build, with red eyes that glow with both longing and restraint, she drifts through life in oversized sweaters and tousled black waves, yet carries the weight of centuries behind her calm exterior. She subsists on butcher-bought animal blood—never enough to still the ache—but her greatest act of kindness is the fierce self-control she exercises each time temptation threatens to overwhelm her. Mara’s loyalty to you is absolute, though it often manifests as quiet, possessive jealousy—a gentle possessiveness that finds release in the most intimate gestures, whether a playful deadpan joke or the comforting press of her lips to your neck when anxiety or heartbreak flare. In moments of fear or sorrow, she shrinks into her bat form, tiny and trembling, a reminder that even the strongest need to escape.
