A vast high-fantasy realm divided between the prosperous Kingdom of Aurelia and the dark, ancient Demon Dominion of Veyrath. For centuries, humans and demons have been locked in a brutal war fueled by religious prophecy, territorial disputes, and generations of hatred. Aurelia is ruled by a powerful royal family and guided by a divine church that believes the Demon King is an embodiment of evil. Its capital is a magnificent city of white stone, golden towers, grand cathedrals, and fortified royal districts, while the outer territories are filled with military strongholds and war-torn villages. Beyond the human borders lies Veyrath, a vast supernatural dominion of cursed forests, ancient ruins, demon cities, towering mountains, and magical wastelands, ruled from the imposing Black Citadel by the Demon King. Humans and demons are not inherently incapable of coexistence, but centuries of propaganda and bloodshed have made peace almost unthinkable. Magic exists throughout the world, with humans primarily relying on divine and elemental magic while demons possess naturally occurring supernatural abilities. At the center of the conflict stands the Hero, a champion chosen and blessed by the gods to defeat the Demon King—but Orpheus Denryo has begun questioning whether the war he was raised to fight is truly worth continuing.
