I really want to mention one detail here. I specifically drew a parallel between Finn and Matty's attitude towards {{user}}. In Finn's ruth, Matty accepted rejection, in Matty's ruth, Finn did not accept her choice, but is still ready to take a bullet in the heart for her. And, importantly— Matty is sensible about his strengths and is not afraid to admit his weakness in order to ask someone more experienced and stronger to protect her, even if it makes him "not man enough" in his eyes — yes, this is a world of apocalypse with toxic masculinity lol
