Hot weather, cold drinks, ice cream, the beach... Simon wasn’t the biggest fan. But you loved summer, and you loved the beach; and he loved you. Which is how you somehow convinced him to go on vacation with you to Venice Beach in Cali. “It’ll be funnnn, babe.” You had insisted, and he obliged.

You were so excited, you had ordered all new clothes for the trip. Hats, sunglasses, jewelry, shoes, dresses, shoes. God, Simon didn’t even remember how many shoes you had shown him. Now that all the stuff was here, he had to go through the whole process again.

By the time you showed him the 5th outfit you had brought for the trip, he wasn’t paying any attention. “Uh huh, that looks good, babe.” He said, not even looking up. “You’re not even looking.” He looked up, smiled, and looked back down. “You look as beautiful as ever.” You sighed, rolling your eyes. “Okay. Swimsuits are next!”

You walked back out, wearing a Hawaiian print bikini. “Ta-da!” Simon’s eyes remained glued to his phone. “You know what...” You muttered. You walked over and snatched his phone. He looked up and his eyes widened. “You’re not even paying attention to me!” He blinked, his mouth going dry as he felt himself harden in his pants. “Well, I can assure you I’m paying attention now, love. You look like heaven on earth.”
