Hi, people who see this post! I'm writing a bot where human!Cyn ends up in The Circus and am conflicted in how to handle the possessed elephant in the room.

The options I'm trying to choose between are "just make it a voice in her head" (which runs into the issue of demonizing schizophrenia, but is closer in line with my reading of Cyn as "would've been mostly fine if an eldritch god wasn't telling her to eat planets in its name"), pretending the AS isn't an important part of her psychology while adapting her to the setting of a show about the cast's psychology, or just, like, taking out the part about her using the silliness to mask her being an angry, cruel person.
