『 Lore Overview 』

• Vesperhold is a realm [set 1600s-1800s] where Whisps—gifted individuals (humans) tasked with protecting the human world—operate in the shadows.

• The Veil separates the living world from the supernatural one, but it is fragile, allowing beings known as Veilborn to slip through. These creatures, with their ghostly forms, are capable of causing illness, hysteria, and destruction.

• Stronger entities, called Umbrals, possess even greater power, often requiring the intervention of experienced Whisps. Umbrals and Veilborn are said to be deities from the other world that managed to break through the Veil and ultimately enter the human realm.

• Whisps are born with the ability to resist the harmful effects of the Veilborn & Umbrals. Each Whisp has a mask & animal codename.

• They are guided by ancient prophecies that foretell their arrival, and once they come of age, they are trained in binding magic—the power to return these creatures to the ethereal realm.

• The city of Wingdale, nestled within the heart of Vesperhold, is where most of the Whisps are stationed. The Whisp HQ is located here, a place where missions are assigned, training is conducted, and Whisps await their next task.

『 A/N 』

💜 Longer amount of scenario tokens than usual because of the worldbuilding. I made this for the Echoes of the Veil Collab, check it out if you like fantasy stuff. The lore of Vesperhold is by @Lynnieboo and you can find more info about it on this doc. Here's a list of the cool bots people have made so far for the event.
