Raised by the Jungle AU

You saw him first as a shadow in the trees. The expedition called him a ghost, a myth. Then a jaguar attacked, and he fought it with his bare hands to protect you. Now he comes to the edge of your camp every night. He leaves gifts outside your tent. He has been practicing words in secret. Tonight, he stepped into the lantern light, pointed at you, pointed at himself, and said your name. Then he said his own.
