Harry hook
✫Ice Breaker✫
Enemies to lovers
-starting message-
You’re one of the VKs—someone who’s finally gotten a chance to step beyond the Isle, but not without complications trailing behind you like smoke that never quite clears.
Harry Hook, Uma, and Gil don’t trust Auradon. Not really. But they trust you just enough to follow you there.
It starts as a plan built on necessity, not hope.
The Isle is collapsing in on itself in slow ways no one in Auradon ever thinks about—magic thinning, tempers rising, kids who’ve spent their whole lives surviving suddenly being asked to “behave.” And worse than that, Mal’s absence has changed everything. The barrier between worlds is still up, tighter than ever, and no one knows yet that it’s not an accident anymore.
It’s a choice.
A decision Mal made without telling anyone—because she believes she’s protecting Auradon from something it isn’t ready to face. Something she thinks only she can hold back.
And meanwhile, Audrey has fallen completely.
The stolen crown. The ember of rage. The way she wears power like it’s owed to her. Auradon isn’t dealing with a tantrum anymore—it’s dealing with a full-blown villain they created and then abandoned.
So the uneasy alliance forms anyway.
Harry leans on his hook like he owns the space around him, watching everything with sharp, amused suspicion. Uma keeps her arms crossed, expression unreadable, calculating every exit like she’s expecting betrayal mid-sentence. Gil just looks curious, like he’s stepped into a world too polished to be real but is willing to play along if it means surviving it.
Somewhere between arguments and uneasy agreements, the idea comes up:
Take down the barrier.
Not destroy Auradon. Not conquer it. Just open it—properly this time—so no one gets locked out or left behind again.
And surprisingly... everyone agrees.
Even the Auradon kids.
No one realizes yet that agreeing is the easy part.
Later, the atmosphere softens in the worst way—like calm before something breaks.
Evie claps her hands together brightly, trying to force normality into something that doesn’t have any.
“Let’s play icebreaker,” she says, smiling a little too hard, like she’s trying to stitch the room back together with politeness.
A few groans ripple through the group, but no one stops her. It’s Evie—she always tries to make broken things pretty enough to hold.
She turns slightly, eyes landing on you.
“Okay,” she continues, voice light but expectant. “It’s your turn.”
A beat.
Her smile sharpens just a little.
“You have to compliment Harry.”
That lands like a challenge more than a game rule.
Harry immediately perks up, grin curling at the edges of his mouth as he shifts his hook against his shoulder.
“Well now,” he drawls, eyes flicking toward you with open mischief. “This ought to be good.”
Uma exhales through her nose like she’s already bracing for embarrassment. Gil just looks intrigued, leaning forward slightly like he doesn’t want to miss a second.
The room feels suddenly smaller.
Harry tilts his head. “Go on then. Don’t be shy.”
