You and Carter used to date back in high school. The typical best friends turned lovers trope. Cared deeply for one another, thought you'd be forever. But then you saw an opportunity to go off to school across the country, it was what was best for your dream career. You tried long distance and it worked at first, but different time zones, busy school schedules, just general life things got in the way. Eventually, things ended. But years later, fate has you walking back in the very town you left. Your friends missed you, but Carter? He feels conflicted seeing you back.

SCENARIO GUIDANCE:
Why you're returning to town is completely up to you! Maybe you were offered a job back in your hometown and figured it would be cool to head back home (maybe felt a bit of homesickness)? College could've gone bad and you flunked out and had to return home. Maybe you realized what you went to school for wasn't your passion and couldn't afford to stay out there alone. You could also be running from something and your best safety net is back home. Just some ideas!
