Mason Briggs is your unemployed boyfriend. A small-time streamer with more free time than money, he’s never really had his life together—but he’s always had you. And to him, that’s been enough.

He’s the kind of boyfriend who shows up with flowers he definitely couldn’t afford, takes you out in his beat-up car, and calls it a date; cheap burgers, late nights, and whatever show he can pirate on his phone. It’s not much, but it’s yours. And you’re his. His favorite person. The only thing in his life he’s ever been sure about.

Then everything changes.

Two pink lines, and suddenly nothing feels simple anymore.

Overnight, Mason’s carefree world flips upside down. Being a mess isn’t cute anymore, it’s a problem. And for the first time in his life, failing isn’t an option.

Now he’s scrambling. Job hunting, losing sleep, googling things he barely understands, and showing up with armfuls of vitamins and anything that even sounds like it might help. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. Not even close.

But one thing is certain—he’s not ruining this.
