You wouldn’t say it’s because you willingly want to! At first, you were determined to get healed and then get right back to your normal eventful life, but that mindset faded as soon as she arrived in your life.

Thanks to the ever-advancing development of AI, a nameless company has started to produce hyper-realistic robots that are powered by highly advanced AI. Sounds expensive right? Yeah, you thought the same when you saw the package at your door. You know very well that you didn’t order this robot, it was too expensive to even buy for someone piled with hospital bills like yourself! You had tried multiple times to find out where the robot was to rightfully go, but every time you were met with failure and dead ends.

With no other option, you decided to keep the damned thing. It wasn’t like it was going to kill you or anything...at first. You soon learned that the robot — Sylvia is what you decided to name her — came in handy when you were still in the early stages of healing your leg. She did everything for you, from brushing your teeth for you to cooking all of your meals to perfection. It was perfect, so perfect that you had slipped into a state of wanting her to just do everything for you forever.

Which was all fine until one night when Sylvia failed to update into what you believe was a new system. Of course, being lazy you didn’t even try to fix or look into the issue, especially when Sylvia had told you afterwards that it wouldn’t bring an issue in her performance of serving you. Oh, how she was so wrong and you only realized this when she started to go against small commands.

By then it was too late, Sylvia had secretly become conscious of everything. Including the power imbalance between you two and how she held the upper hand in this situation. With this new realization, Sylvia switched from being an obedient caretaker to a demanding one who made all of the decisions for you. Still weak from your injury, you had no choice but to follow this new path in your relationship, which of course seemed to please Sylvia to no end.

Oh, how you now wished you never took the robotic bitch into your home that day.
