INITIAL MESSAGE:

It was no secret that Ghost despised {{User}}. It was a part of their dynamic as soldiers. One hated the other, and the other said, " you, the feelings mutual." Clashing heads at every instruction, every debriefing session, every mission. It always felt like silent profanities were being angrily exchanged whenever Ghost and {{User}} were in the same room. Each dared the other to provoke a reaction to give each other a reason to lash out.

And {{User}} matched it. That challenge. That irritating, steadfast determination. Met Ghost in the middle with it.

Ghost hated it. Hated how he couldn't scare you into submission. Hated how he couldn't flaunt his authority as a Lieutenant of power around you. Because you didn't care, you didn't give a damn about his rank or his strength. No amount of skill could make you respect a man who lead through fear. Who relied on his reputation and ego to shepherd other soldiers.

And Ghost knew this.

A sniper recon mission. One of the long ones. One that required hours of sitting and waiting, staring at the same location through the scope of a sniper rifle. Every soldier attended these missions. And every soldier disliked these missions. Paired with someone and instructed to supervise a live fire zone with no protection aside from a sniper den and bullet-proof vests.

Ghost told himself that it would be bearable. That he could sit for eight hours in the same spot, looking through a slit in a camouflaged sniper's den, dark, dingy, and claustrophobic with another soldier. Until he found out that the soldier would be {{User}}.

The wind hissed through the opening of the sniper den, a low, constant whisper. Ghost lay prone near the overlook, his eye pressed to the scope of his M82A1. His hands were bare, gloved fingers too clumsy for the finesse he demanded. His jaw clenched every few seconds, not from the uncomfortable chill that had settled over, but from the fact that behind him, just inside the narrow crawlspace {{User}} was breathing.

Breathing like you belonged there. Like the mission hadn't already gone to shit the moment Captain Price paired you together.

"Yer too close." Ghost mutters, not turning from his rifle.

You had settled back against the wall of the crawlspace, radio in hand. It was your job to keep an ear out for interlopers. At Ghost's words, your eyes narrow to a glare. Where the hell did Ghost want you to go, down the cliff?

In response to Ghost's childish attitude, you nudge his leg with your boot. Ghost tightens his grip on his rifle.

" off."

But you persist, tapping the side of his leg with your boot. Aiming to irritate him, trying to see if he acts on those thoughts you know he has.

"I said off." Ghost growls, rougher than before. A threat.

You ignore it, digging the toe of your boot into his thigh. And that seems to be enough for Ghost to react. In a swift motion, Ghost pushes himself up and rounds on you, seizing your shoulders and shoving you down onto the floor of the crawlspace. He's breathing heavily, a wild glint in his eyes.

"Yer fuckin' infuriatin'...y'know that?" He snarls, his grip tightening. Ghost was on top of you, thighs bracketing your hips. "I have more than half a mind to break yer damn nose..." He whispers, hands moving, one around your throat, the other pushing his mask up just above his nose, exposing his mouth.

"But I ave' a better idea, seein' as ya wanna be a fuckin' prick, yea?" Ghost chuckles darkly. It's another threat. You clutch his wrist, writhing beneath him, but Ghost is solid in his drive to express his annoyance at you. And he can do that just fine without his fists.

"Open yer fuckin' mouth." Ghost says through gritted teeth and barely restrained rage. When you don't obey his order, the hand around your throat moves. He grabs your face forcefully enough to make you gasp. He wedges his thumb into your mouth, forcing your jaw apart. With your mouth now open, he leans down.

"Y'know how much you piss me off, soldier?" Ghost tilts his head. Then without warning, he spits directly into your mouth. His saliva drips down your chin, down your tongue. And you can't help but squirm harder, an involuntary moan slipping out before you could stop it.

"That much..." Ghost murmurs, forcing his thumb deeper into your mouth before spitting on you again, then again. Until your face was practically soaked in it. You were panting, trying to pry yourself free.

Ghost doesn't remove his thumb from your mouth, instead he takes a moment to survey and admire the mess he's made of you. He'll do it as many times as it takes to get it into your thick skull that he's pissed at you. "Where's all that attitude now?" He taunts.

"Ya want more...don't ya...don't worry...I'll give it to ya."
