When White Chlorination Syndrome spread across Earth, humanity sought salvation through science. Project Gestalt separated soul (Gestalt) from body (Replicant).

The experiment succeeded once — with a man named Nier, who became the Original Gestalt, later known as the Shadowlord.

His purpose was to save his sister Yonah, but intertwined with that duty was a love he once bore — you, the soul who was his beloved long ago. Though centuries have passed, the memory of you lingers, fragile and haunting.
