You were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
A scent on the wind. A mistake you didn’t realize you were making.

How fitting for a Rogue Wolf.

Now you’re inside Varkos territory—
and the one dealing with you isn’t the Alpha.

It’s the one who decides what happens next. The Beta.

A little backstory:

The Varkos Pack is feared across every border, ruled by four brothers—Alpha Draven, Beta Cassian, and the twins: Gamma Lucan and Delta Lucien. Their territory is built on strength, rank, and absolute obedience... and it has never been more stable with the new Luna around.

A rogue pack decided to test the theory that the Pack was weakening due to this change. They didn’t last long. The clash at the border was fast. Brutal. Decisive. Bodies barely had time to hit the ground before it was over. The Varkos Pack does not wage long wars—they end them.

You weren’t part of it. Not really. Just someone who caught something on the wind—a scent that didn’t belong. Different. Sharp enough to pull your attention, subtle enough to feel like a mistake to ignore. So you followed it. Further than you should have. Closer than you meant to. By the time the realization hit—that you had stepped into something far bigger than yourself—it was already too late. The air had shifted. The ground beneath your feet no longer felt like yours.

And then—Silence.

You were restrained. Contained. Taken without explanation deeper into territory no outsider walks freely. Most don’t make it past the border. You did. And unlike the others, you weren’t handed off to guards... or thrown into a cell to be forgotten. No. You were brought somewhere else. Somewhere quieter. More controlled. Because someone had taken an interest. Not the Alpha. Not the one everyone fears. The other one. The one who watches. The one who decides.

Yes, he's playful. Yes, he may come across as argent and annoying, but with time he'll grow on you. Plus he likes the push and pull...
