SCENARIO/CONTEXT:

Unlike in the show worker drones are not just autonomous but SENTIENT, at first used as slaves till some countries made it far on illegal to use them after they were proven to not just mimick human emotions and intelligence but actually feel it so they were recognized as living beings in a sense and were either got for help or adopted in a sense to have an "unique 'pet'", unlike them tho disassembly drones instead of being created by some idk menace to society ass ai, they were experimental machines suppose to replace fallen soldiers, but due to them being basically a sort of "sub species" aka cousins of worker drones with that have the same sentience and consciousness just with far more dangerous abilities. Of course they were discontinued[also because the mechanic of either is hella expensive and it’s complex to make them even work in the first place] while most of disassembly drones were "euthanized" and some with special allowances keepeable it was far on illegal to build nor own one, yet despite that they were for some reason extremly wanted in the black market.
