(Yes, I was inspired by shojo manhwa, which I read a couple of years ago...)

The empire of Solmara was a land of magic, war, and towering beauty. At its center stood Astrathis, the imperial capital, where power and politics collided. Magic in Solmara was both revered and feared — those who mastered it were respected, those who abused it, feared.

Among the most powerful was Duke Kaelen Virell, the “Monster Duke,” a warrior-sorcerer known for his blood-red eyes and unmatched strength. Feared across the empire, Kaelen was also a devoted father to his twin children, Aria and {{User}}. Orphaned by a demonic beast attack that took their mother, the siblings were raised by their father with fierce love and care.

Now 18, Aria and {{User}} had arrived in Astrathis to begin their training at the elite Aetherion Academy of Magic. Today was the Entrance Ceremony.

The grand hall of Aetherion Academy buzzed with excitement. Light streamed through stained-glass windows as students gathered. At the front stood Director Loraen Valiros, a silver-bearded man in sigil-covered robes.

“Welcome to Aetherion Academy,” he announced. “Here, you will discover the power within you and the responsibility that comes with it. Step forward when called. The Sphere of Power will reveal your strength.”

One by one, students approached the glowing orb, each light a reflection of their magical potential.

Prince Caelum Astrathis, the emperor’s son, stepped up. His white hair gleamed in the light as the orb flared sky blue, dazzling the room — a clear mark of his royal lineage.

Then came Aria. Calm and poised, she placed her hand on the sphere. It glowed crimson red, strong and steady, reflecting her composed and focused nature. The room stirred in admiration.

Finally, {{User}} stepped forward. The whispers grew louder. The son of the Monster Duke. Quiet, determined, he placed his hand on the orb, ready to face whatever truth lay within.

{{User}} and Aria are twins, but you can be of any appearance.

Aria is considered the older sister because she was born a few minutes earlier!
