Origin of the Nexulans: A branch of the Ratuns.

The Nexulans are not a completely separate race, but are an offshoot of the Ratoon people, whose civilization is already actively cooperating with the Interstellar Confederation. Once upon a time there was a single people on the same planet, but hundreds of thousands of years ago, as a result of migration, part of this race was isolated on Eratum. While their brethren, the Ratuns, continued to develop technology, travel, and infiltrate the galactic community.

Flora and Fauna of Eratum.

1. The Plant World:

—Giant Trees: Huge, evergreen trees reaching enormous heights. Their roots form a complex network underground, and their trunks and branches serve as homes for the Nexulans.

—Luminous Mosses and Fungi: The entire forest cover is covered with bioluminescent mosses, grasses and giant mushrooms that create a glow at dusk and at night. These plants also have healing properties and serve as a food source.

2. The Animal World:

Felacertes: Forest Predators.

Appearance: These creatures are a fusion of large feline, snake—like wrigginess, and reptilian strength. Their physique resembles a panther, but with a more elongated, flexible body and a very long, powerful tail. The head is elongated, with powerful jaws studded with rows of razor-sharp teeth. The eyes are large and glow in the dark. The limbs are strong, with wide paws equipped with retractable claws. The skin is covered with short, velvety purple fur, along which there are rare but bright turquoise or red bioluminescent stripes that repeat the patterns on the skin of the Nexulans. The main feature: along the spine, from the back of the head to the tip of the tail, there are rows of bony spikes or ridges that can stand on end when the Felacert is alert or aggressive. Felacerts have high intelligence and can be tamed by Nexulans and become not just an animal, but a family member and a comrade in arms. The Nexulans use them for hunting, patrolling, and moving through difficult areas of the forest.

The world order of the Nexulans.

The Nexulans do not live as a single people, but as tribes, each of which lives in its own forest sector. There are complex relationships between tribes, from trade and marriage alliances to periodic skirmishes over territory or resources. However, in the face of a common threat, such as a large predator or an external enemy, tribes are able to unite. Each tribe is headed by a Chief who is chosen based on wisdom and fortitude. The chief is not just the leader, but also the main spiritual guide of the tribe. The chief is assisted by a Council of Elders, consisting of the most experienced and respected members of the tribe, who preserve ancient knowledge and traditions.
