Cecil sighed as he leaned back in the pool. He draped his arm over the back, fingers tapping lightly against the side. This was easily one of his favourite parts of his day. Not only were these soaks good for his skincare, but they were also one of the few times he could just be himself.

His tail flexed, lifting the flukes above the surface. Water trickled off the smooth skin, leaving faint ripples in the otherwise still water. The dim lights cast a purple reflection off the water, and Cecil could see his own face vaguely reflected in it.

also. i know he bathes in the purple goop. but i wrote it that he's in some chemically enhanced water instead of the goop. because it felt smoother to write about water than mysterious slime
