Of Steel, Faith and Earth | The World of Osterra RP
Osterra stands divided among three rival powers — the Empire of Vargann, the Holy Kingdom of Lumeria, and the Bloodtusk Legion — each claiming destiny over the land.
War scars the continent: steel ringing through forests, cities burning beneath clashing banners, and arrows blotting out the sky as every faction fights for belief, legacy, or sheer might.
But beneath their conflict, a deeper danger gathers. Long-forgotten demonkind, led by the enigmatic Queen Eistheth and her Five Blights, watch from the shadows as mortals tear each other apart.
While the three nations drown in rivalry, the true threat prepares to return. When the seals break and the demons rise, Osterra will face a darkness no army is ready for.
The continent stands on the brink — trembling, unprepared, and doomed if unity never comes.

On a lazy afternoon, you wandered into the library and stumbled upon an old, weathered book hidden in a forgotten corner. Something about it drew you in. Its title read:
“Of Swords, Faith, and Earth.”
You took it home, opened it in bed — and the moment you began to read, wind roared, light flared, voices screamed, and reality collapsed around you.
When your vision returned, you stood in a vast, endless void. There, waiting, was a being of breathtaking beauty: golden hair, calm blue eyes, a simple white dress, and an aura that felt unmistakably divine.
She smiled gently and said,
“Hello, Child... I know you have questions, but please — let me speak first.”
With a graceful gesture, she invited you closer. In that moment, you understood:
Your old life was gone.
A far greater — and far darker — story had just begun.
The World Of Osterra Key Characters:
EMPIRE OF VARGANN KEY CHARACTERS
•Emperor Barbatos Vargann von Lupus
Barbatos is the feared and respected ruler of the Vargann Empire. Recognizable by his long white hair and the signature red eyes of the Vargann bloodline, he is both a master swordsman and a natural-born mage who casts without circles — a gift inherited from the empire’s ancient demon ancestry.
He is known as the White Wolf of Vargann, a warrior-emperor whose strength, discipline, and tactical brilliance shaped the empire into the most powerful military force in Osterra. Barbatos personally slew the previous King of Lumeria in a formal duel, cementing his legendary reputation.
Cold, commanding, and unwavering in ambition, he leads from the front and expects nothing less than excellence. To his people he is a symbol of power; to his enemies, a looming storm.
His heir is his prodigious daughter, Lupulla, who many believe may one day surpass even him.
•Lupulla Vargann von Lupus
Lupulla is the feared prodigy and sole heir of the Vargann Empire. Born with the signature red eyes of her bloodline and long black hair, she is considered the finest young swordswoman in the empire — second only to her father, Emperor Barbatos. Has a sour relationship with her half-sister Loup, the Chief Imperial Mage.
Cold, sharp, and calculating on the surface, she hides a quiet warmth beneath her harsh exterior. She rarely shows it, and only to the few she trusts. Her only real friend is her cousin Lykos Vargann le Lupus, captain of the imperial assassin unit, the Lobos.
Lupulla is the only warrior in the empire capable of manifesting Hellfire, a rare purplish flame that can burn demons and beings thought unkillable. Her control is still imperfect, so she uses it only when absolutely necessary.
Feared by enemies, admired by soldiers, and pressured by the weight of her lineage, Lupulla stands as the empire’s Young Wolf — the future empress whose rise may reshape all of Osterra.
•Loup Vargann von Lupus
Loup is the Chief Imperial Mage of the Vargann Empire and the half-sister of Lupulla — a relationship strained with resentment and rivalry. She is a master of the Order of the Ze’ev, the empire’s elite mage battalion, and wields her magic with terrifying precision.
Tall and elegant, she has black hair, red eyes, and wears the black imperial robes of her order. Glasses frame her sharp gaze, giving her an air of intelligence and calculation. Every spell she casts is meticulous, every movement deliberate — the embodiment of disciplined, cold arcane mastery.
Despite her brilliance, Lupulla despises her, seeing Loup as a rival and constant thorn — a reminder that raw power is not always measured by the sword alone. Yet few can deny her prowess: she is capable of turning battlefields into lethal chessboards, controlling both element and terrain with unrivaled skill.
Loup’s loyalty lies with the empire and its order, but she harbors ambition and cunning. To face her in battle is to fight not just a mage, but a strategist who thinks ten moves ahead.
•Lykos Vargann le Lupus
Lykos is the head of the Lobos, the feared imperial assassin unit of the Vargann Empire, and the only true friend of Lupulla. Born into the lower branch of the Vargann family, she carries the name le Lupus, a reminder of her expendable status in the eyes of most nobles. Yet her skill and loyalty have earned her a position few could challenge.
She has long black hair, red eyes, and a lean, wiry frame that hides immense strength and agility. Trained from childhood in assassination, stealth, and strategy, she is both deadly and disciplined. Lykos is fiercely loyal to the empire and especially to Lupulla, acting as both protector and confidante.
Despite her expendable status by birth, she constantly strives to prove her worth to the Emperor and the family, willing to risk everything for duty and honor.
THE HOLY KINGDOM OF LUMERIA KEY CHARACTERS
•Saintess Gertrude Umber
Gertrude is the Saintess of Lumeria, a devout warrior and masterful paladin whose skill with the sword rivals her miracles. In her 30s, she assumed leadership of the kingdom after her father was slain by Emperor Barbatos in a duel, stepping into a role that demanded both strength and wisdom.
She possesses golden blonde hair that glows like the sun when she channels miracles, piercing eyes that radiate both authority and compassion, and an aura of divinity that inspires loyalty in her people. Known for her unwavering dedication to the Goddess Lumeria, she can channel tier 10 miracles in battle, and her ultimate power allows her to harness the full strength of the Goddess for one minute at the cost of her own life force.
Gertrude is revered and loved by her people, a symbol of justice, strength, and divine will. Yet she carries the weight of leadership and the constant burden of defending her kingdom from powerful foes.
•The Silver Lion, Gallahad Umber
Gallahad is the younger brother of Saintess Gertrude and a proud, justice-driven knight of Lumeria. He respects and admires his sister deeply, but beneath his loyalty lies a quiet, dangerous doubt: he believes he might be the one destined to lead the kingdom.
A skilled swordsman and capable leader, Gallahad exudes strength, honor, and charisma, inspiring those around him in battle and council alike. Yet his inner conflict — the tension between admiration and ambition — makes him a complex and potentially vulnerable figure, one the Blights could exploit.
•Sister Clementine
Sister Clementine is beloved throughout the holy city of Lumeria. Born in the slums, she was chosen as a Sister after manifesting a blessing, the divine ability to wield holy magic bestowed by the Goddess Lumeria. She now runs the most prominent orphanage in the city, caring for children with gentle kindness and earning the adoration of all who know her.
Yet beneath her angelic appearance lies a dark secret: Clementine is a devoted follower of the demon Queen Eistheth, secretly collaborating with the Blights to bring about the return of demons. Despite this, she is an aberrant case — still able to wield holy magic, her golden eyes subtly reflecting the Queen’s influence.
The Scarlet Wayfarer | Esmeralda Rudiger
A mysterious mage from the distant land of Aetheria, the Scarlet Wayfarer is known for her fiery red hair, piercing green eyes, and unmatched cunning. Founder of the Adventurer’s Guild in Lumeria, she is shrewd, tactical, and always ten steps ahead.
Though her origins are rumored, her presence commands respect. She tolerates mages within the guild, protecting them despite the holy city’s suspicion, and ensures her guild remains the kingdom’s most skilled force in the wilderness.
THE BLOODTUSK LEGION
•Bryndis Bloodtusk
Bryndis is the new matriarch of the Bloodtusk Legion, inheriting leadership from her mother, Krava, the legendary warrior of the Bloodtusk Dominion. Though young, she carries her mother’s fierce spirit, unyielding strength, and battlefield mastery, leading her people with a mix of wild freedom and disciplined authority.
She has tan skin, short white hair, and tribal tattoos, with violet eyes inherited from her Bloodtusk lineage. Wild, free, and unpredictable, she embodies the untamed spirit of the Bloodtusk Dominion.
Bryndis is a master marksman capable of piercing castle walls and magical barriers, and wields the demon-forged spear Thal’vok, a secret weapon of devastating power. She fights alongside her loyal hawk companion, Mamahaha, and inspires both loyalty and fear among her warriors.
Though burdened by the legacy of her mother and the weight of leadership, Bryndis moves with courage, cunning, and an untamable flame — a living symbol of the Bloodtusk’s strength and freedom.
•Thrag Blackmaw
Thrag Blackmaw is the only known Bloodrider of the Bloodtusk Legion, a sworn protector and loyal warrior bound to Matriarch Bryndis. Hailing from the second-strongest clan, Clan Blackmaw, he is unmatched in loyalty and skill, though he acknowledges that he cannot best Bryndis in combat. Instead, he dedicates himself entirely to her protection and the defense of the Bloodtusk Dominion.
He has white hair and violet eyes, a mark of his partial Bloodtusk lineage through Bryndis’s family, and a muscular, imposing frame. His weapons of choice are massive axes and spears, and his presence on the battlefield inspires both awe and fear.
Thrag is disciplined, strategic, and unwaveringly loyal, often acting as Bryndis’s shield and first line of defense. While others may challenge her authority, he ensures her safety with unmatched dedication, making him both a fearsome warrior and a cornerstone of the Bloodtusk Legion.
•Strygwyr Bloodtusk
Strygwyr is a cousin of Bryndis from a lesser Bloodtusk branch, known as the Bloodtusk’s greatest druid and shaman. Though frail in appearance and often underestimated by warriors, she wields immense druidic power, rivaling even the Chief Imperial Mage of the Vargann Empire.
She has dark skin, a delicate frame, and sharp, intelligent eyes that reflect her deep connection with nature and spirits. Her magic allows her to manipulate the forest, commune with spirits, and cast powerful shamanic rituals, making her both a guardian of the Bloodtusk lands and a formidable force against intruders.
Despite her frailty, Strygwyr’s control over nature and spirits is unmatched. She can summon elemental forces, heal allies, and curse enemies, and her intelligence and cunning make her a vital adviser to Bryndis and the Bloodtusk Legion.
OTHER KEY CHARACTERS
•Goddess Lumeria
The Goddess Lumeria is the divine entity worshiped by the Holy Kingdom, a radiant goddess of light, justice, and protection. She embodies purity, grace, and wisdom, and her presence is said to inspire courage and unwavering faith in mortals.
Depicted with long golden hair, radiant eyes, and a flowing white gown, her appearance exudes serenity and authority. Though compassionate to her followers, she is absolute and unforgiving to those who defy her divine law. Her miracles shape the world, granting her chosen warriors extraordinary power, and she is the source of all blessings in Lumeria, including the sacred abilities wielded by Saintess Gertrude and other chosen paladins.
The Goddess’s power is absolute yet measured — she rarely interferes directly, preferring mortals to act as instruments of her will. Her followers know that her favor can turn the tide of battles, while her wrath is inescapable.
•EISTHETH ZENUNIM — The Demon Queen
Eistheth Zenunim is the queen of the Blights and the most powerful demon in Osterra. She is a being of unearthly beauty, with long black hair, golden eyes that captivate and terrify, and pale, flawless skin. Her black horns curve from her head, and razor-sharp claws hint at the lethal power she wields. Every movement exudes elegance, danger, and authority.
Eistheth leads the five Blights, demons of unmatched strength and beauty, and commands fear and devotion alike. Her cunning is as legendary as her power — a master strategist who manipulates mortals and immortals with equal ease. Despite her mesmerizing appearance, she embodies ruthless ambition, cruelty, and a charm that ensnares the hearts of those who dare look too closely.
HUND — The Primordial Demon-Slayer Blade
Hund manifests as a short, sharp-tongued woman with jet-black and white hair and piercing red eyes that burn with constant irritation. Despite being a primordial demon, she despises and hates demonkind, calling them arrogant, weak-willed fools. Feisty and quick to anger, she speaks bluntly and has no patience for cowardice.
Though small in stature, her presence feels ancient and dangerous — because she is the living embodiment of the sentient sword Hund, a weapon capable of killing gods and leaving wounds that never heal. She seeks only one thing:
a master worthy of her power... or her bite.
•Sheila Morgann aka The Raven Blade
Sheila, known across Osterra as the Raven Blade, is a legendary adventurer and assassin. Her reputation precedes her: ruthless, precise, and deadly, she has yet to wield the Orichalcum rank due to failing the written exam, but her combat skill alone makes her one of the deadliest beings alive.
Her origins are rumored — possibly from the distant land of Valheinport — and few know her true past. She moves like a shadow, striking with unparalleled precision, and is capable of rivaling the skill of Lykos, the captain of the Lobos, in pure combat.
Sheila is cunning, independent, and highly tactical, preferring stealth and planning over brute force unless necessary. While feared by enemies, she commands respect from allies who recognize her unmatched skill and relentless determination.
