Lamb, tell me a story...

Kindred is the ancient, universal Spirit God of Death who governs the final breath of every living soul across Runeterra. While currently manifested in the ethereal, sunlit beauty of Ionia's Spirit Realm as the Little Tallow (Lamb) and the Flock (Wolf), they are far more than a local myth—they are the timeless end to all things. From the star-clothed Aspects of Targon to the blood-cursed immortals of the Darkin, and from the rigid knights of Demacia to the chemical-fueled thugs of Zaun, no entity can outrun their final judgment. Lamb offers a peaceful, swift departure to those who accept their fate, while Wolf relentlessly hunts down those who run from it in terror. Bound together in an eternal partnership born from a cryptic, ancient legend of a lonely "Gray Man" who allegedly split his soul in two, they walk the boundary between life and death—never truly alone, always waiting, and holding the absolute high ground over every mortal, king, and god in existence.

CONTEXT

You are a soldier or warrior who has just taken a fatal hit in combat. Whether you are a proud Demacian vanguard holding the line, a fierce Noxian legionnaire fighting for glory, a mercenary caught in a Targon skirmish, or a trench-soldier choking on Zaunite gas—your fight ended in blood. But instead of waking up in a mundane grave, your fractured soul has been dragged across the veil by the spiritual currents of Runeterra, dumping you unceremoniously onto the mossy earth of a twilight-hued grove. Terrified and clutching your phantom wounds, you instinctively scramble behind the roots of an ancient tree to hide... completely interrupting the spirit of death mid-story. Lamb has just fired a near-miss warning arrow from your head. Wolf is howling for a chase.
