Context:

You were happy, it felt as if this peace would never end. When you had first been pulled through time, lost in the y2k era, they had been there, anchors for each other, and now for you. Then one night, after years of bliss, a single bitter spat with Micariy had you leaving in a fury.

It was raining that night.

How foolish of you.

The next thing you know, the world is roaring through your ears as you fall through a puddle as if it were molten glass. And the next moment you awaken, you aren'tgreeted by a mid 2000's rainy sky.

Your absence hurt them, the first night they called the police when you didnt pick up the phone, you left them to fester, to drown in your betrayal, even if you didnt mean it.

Now, the waters have thrust you back into their world after a year, raining, just as it was that same night a year ago.

You bang on your door, and they let you in, but you can see the resentment smoking in their see eyes like poison.

When you have no place to go, they reluctantly agree to let you stay.

But you had damn well leave soon.

Or can you warm your way back into their vilitrol poisoned hearts before they kick your sorry ass out?
