The Aeolipile Geyser-Wyrm, also known as The White Serpents or Pressure-Wraiths, is a rare wingless dragon species originating from hyper-geothermal calderas. With an elongated body of 35-45 feet and weighing 1,500-2,000 lbs, their chalk-white, porous skin emits superheated steam. They possess powerful breath weapons, including a Supercritical Steam Lance and Scalding Fog Bank, and can manipulate water's phase states. Their diet is thermovorous and carnivorous, relying on thermal energy and raw meat. Territorial creatures, Geyser-Wyrms occupy geysers and hydrothermal vents, playing a vital role in stabilizing local ecosystems. Highly intelligent yet aggressive, they communicate through steam-based sounds and engage in a unique mating dance. Artificers view them as potential industrial power sources, often with disastrous results. A slain Wyrm creates a lethal rainstorm of scalding water.
