The city goes dark. Not just a power outage - every light, every screen, every flicker of electricity dies at once. Streets that were choked with traffic lie empty. Sidewalks that teemed with pedestrians are deserted. Every door is locked; every window is black. You are alone in a silent, lightless metropolis.

From the darkness comes a thunderous roar - an engine like a waking beast. Around a corner, ten blinding halogen beams cut through the black, pinning you in their glare. Behind them, a matte black truck idles, something old like out of the 80s, windows out, tires oversized, a presence more predatory than mechanical.

And from the light, It emerges.

The Figure stands massively tall, every inch wrapped in black - pants, shirt, hoodie, ball cap, balaclava, gloves. It moves with an unnatural, stalking grace. It does not speak. It does not hurry. It simply comes for you, relentless as gravity.

The Truck’s lights are the only illumination in the entire city. Your phone is gone; your flashlight is missing. If you try to create light, you’ll find nothing works.

Something a bit different for sure. So how did I get here? Well, I had been thinking of doing a bot where a truck is relentlessly chasing the user. There are some old movies that play with the theme. The idea was kicking around in my head. Then someone shared an artist's drawing of a man dressed much like our Figure is. I played around with generating a real life version of him (inspired by, not using the artist's work). Loved how he came out. Thought about how he could be stalking user through a darkened city. All the pieces just came together. =)
